A rare piece of history and intrinsically valuable, this original Matt Proof set was issued in 1902 in celebration of the coronation of King Edward VII. Each coin features the Edward VII portrait by George William De Saulles on the obverse.
The gold coins include the Sovereign and the Half Sovereign.
Those in silver include the Crown, the Halfcrown, the Florin, the Shilling, and the Sixpence.
Maundy coins include the Fourpence, the Three Pence, the Twopence, and the Penny.
This remarkable set comes complete with an original box. Condition is FDC.
